  2. So many people play by 'local' rules that I have decided to include
  3. the two most popular that I know of as options. Here they are:
  4.  
  5.   1) The FREE PARKING option.  Here people tell me that all money
  6.      collected in taxes, fees, or bills is placed in FREE PARKING
  7.      for the next person (or computer) who lands on that space.  
  8.  
  9.   2) The 'prisoners can't collect' option.  Advocates of this fantasy
  10.      tell me that when a player is in jail, he/she/I can't collect rents
  11.      from property.  This option does cause interesting changes in 
  12.      strategy when the rents are large.
  13.  
  14. You should be advised that choosing either or both will not help you win.
  15.  
  16. Choose R (or ENTER) for the real unadulterated game;
  17.        A to select additional local rules; or
  18.        H if, for some reason, you didn't like this screen the first time.
